CHAIRMAN'S DAY - 30 AUGUST 2010
We are Usk Cricket Club, a friendly and ambitious club, with a picturesque ground set in the heart of the Monmouthshire Countryside. Macey Cup winners in 2010, The Welsh Cup winners and Macey Cup Runners-Up in 2007, our 1st and 2nd XIs play in the newly formed South Wales Premier Cricket League. We also run a 3rd XI, who plays every Sunday, for those who would prefer a more sociable game.
As an inclusive and modern club we also run junior teams, age groups: U-9s to U-15s for both boys and girls, and since 2007 have started up a women’s team. We also have qualified coaches who run training sessions for all our players. We are always looking for new members and as a club with an active social set up, we will be running events throughout the summer for all-comers to enjoy.
So whether you see yourself as the next big thing, are looking for an excuse to dust off the whites or just want to watch the play with a pint or a pimms, why not come along to the Usk CC.
If you are interested in playing for Usk, please contact Neil Perrett on 07766 745 809 (Seniors) or Kay Peacock on 07931 523 651 (Juniors). For details of our training times and the competitions in which we compete. please see the Coaching, Adult Cricket and Junior Cricket links.
