Usk’s Signings for the 2008 season Usk are pleased to announce the return of current Glamorgan County Cricket Club player Huw Waters Huw played 10 Liverpool Victoria County Championship matches for Glamorgan in 2007, taking 15 wickets in the process. Huw also helped England to reach the knockout stages of the U-19 World Cup in 2006, where they were eventually eliminated in the semi-finals by India. Usk are also looking forward to introducing to the Welsh Premier League Ahmed Bapushah, who is currently studying down in London. Ahmed is from Zimbabwe and has played a high standard of cricket back in his native land. Ahmed recently had trials for the Zimbabwe U-19 squad. As well as contributing his considerable playing talents to the Usk 1st XI, Ahmed will be assisting Mike Jones with the coaching duties at the club.
