EVENTS
Although the Cricket season has ended from a playing perspective, there are still plenty of things on the Usk Cricket Calendar
On Saturday 26 September is the end of season presentation night for both Juniors and Seniors. The Hogroast itself begins at 8pm. Tickets for adults cost £6, juniors go free. Tickets are still available from the pavilion (01291) 673 754.
On Sunday 27 Spetmeber, it is the last Car Boot of the season. To mark the passing of the summer, Russ, Gavin and Kai have agreed to sacrifice their dignity and carry out parking duties in drag. Please come along, even if the ugliest three women in Usk don’t do it for you, then there are bargains galore and tea, coffee and the best bacon and sausage sandwiches in Monmouthshire to be enjoyed.
On Sunday 4 October, quizmaster extraordinaire ‘Albert’ Hall, with assistant Mike Nash, will be hosting one of their famous quizzes up at the pavilion. Please feel free to bring a team along, otherwise come along anyway and join one on the night. The fun starts at 7pm and refreshments are available.
Finally, the serious business: Usk CC’s Annual General takes place on the evening of Wednesday 7th October, at the pavilion, beginning at 8pm. All welcome to attend.
