Usk win Macey Cup!
Usk experienced mixed emotions as the Macey Cup was won in some style on Friday evening against local rivals, Newport. The following day the firsts were brought back down to earth with a heavy defeat at home to Ynysygerwn, whilst the seconds continued their impressive run of form by beating the same opponents

Saturday sees the last round of league matches as Usk 1st team try to avoid relegation. The 1sts are away to Pontardullais, whilst the 2nds entertain the same opponents. Both games begin at 1:30pm. There is no game on Sunday, but the Monday Bank Holiday sees a busy time as Usk celebrate the Chairman’s Day. At 10am a Junior match takes place before the Chairman’s XI, involving past players and one or two of the more famous local residents, take on a Captain’s XI at 1:30pm. The bar will open from 10am and the day will include a raffle and a charity auction to raise money for the club’s nominated charities: St David’s Foundation and Laurence Moon Bardet Biedl Society.
The bar is open throughout and allcomers are welcome.
