Holders get knocked out of Welsh Cup
On Sunday Usk entertained Newport at the Athletic Club Ground. Newport, who had knocked Usk out of the Macey Cup, just a week earlier, completed something of a cup double by eliminating the Welsh Cup holders in only the 4th round of the competition.

Subscription fees are as follows:
Player (before 31 May 2008) £40
Player (after this date) £50
Junior member £10
(Already Athletic Club Member) Free
A junior is anyone under the age of 18 at the beginning of the 2008 season.
Match Fees
Adult £5
Junior N/A
(Juniors are not charged match fees, but pay a fee to contribute towards coaching for the season - U-9s £10; U-11s, U-13s and U-15s £25.)
