Holders get knocked out of Welsh Cup
On Sunday Usk entertained Newport at the Athletic Club Ground. Newport, who had knocked Usk out of the Macey Cup, just a week earlier, completed something of a cup double by eliminating the Welsh Cup holders in only the 4th round of the competition.

Training sessions:
Seniors (men) summer net sessions will be taking place on Thursday evenings throughout the summer (weather permitting) 5:30pm – 7:30pm at the Usk Athletic Club ground. Contact 1st XI Captian, Neil Perrett, on 07766 745809 for further information.
Seniors (women) coaching and training will take place on Sunday mornings at 11am. Contact Coach, Mike Jones, on 07805 200910 for further information.
Junior training sessions take place on Tuesday evenings at the following times: U-9s 4:30-5:30; U-11s and U-13s 5:30-7:00; U-15s 7:00-8:30. Contact either Coach, Mike Jones on 07805 200910 or Junior Cricket Co-ordinator, Kay Peacock on 07931 523651.
All Training sessions are free of charge and open to new members wishing to try their hand at the game. All sessions are overseen by coaches.
