Holders get knocked out of Welsh Cup
On Sunday Usk entertained Newport at the Athletic Club Ground. Newport, who had knocked Usk out of the Macey Cup, just a week earlier, completed something of a cup double by eliminating the Welsh Cup holders in only the 4th round of the competition.

Although our league and friendly programmes are aimed at adult members, some of our more talented juniors also represent the club at these levels.
Matches:
1st and 2nd XI league matches take place predominantly on Saturdays (plus August Bank Holiday Monday). These are 50-over games, and begin at 1pm (12:30pm early season and in September). The 1st XI also compete in the following cup competitions: the Macey Cup, a 20-over format (Usk were Runners-Up in 2007) and the Welsh Cup, a 45-over tournament. Usk are the current holders of this prestigious competition..
3rd XI matches take place on Sundays. League matches are 40 over games, and begin at 2:00pm (1:30pm in September).
Friendly games vary both in start time and format.
Women’s XI matches. Games will be announced during the season.
